Winter and Hockey

I had the pleasure recently of photographing Salem State College's 3rd annual Hockey Jamboree. There were 7 games with 14 high schools from the northshore playing scrimmage games. I have to be honest, hockey is one of my least favorite sports, I know that specially in New England there are a lot of Bruins fans, but when you pay money to be cold, and watch people on ice... it just doesn't make since to me. =o)

But, Hockey does have it's saving grace, it's one sport that you have to have a lot of talent to be good at it. Speaking from a person, that has never been on ice, other than on his butt during the occasional slip and fall, I have a lot of respect for the men and women that decide to pick up a stick and go out there and give it their all, on a pair of razor sharp skates, while moving at great speeds...

The one thing I can say from this event is that every single one of those boys playing put their heart and souls, even though it was an exhibition game.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Merry Christmas

Well, my wife Lisa finally sent our Christmas cards so I got the ok to place Frankie up here. This past month has been a busy one, with all the families ordering Christmas cards and last minute wedding gifts, it has been nuts... =o)

I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a very happy New Year!

I know, I know...

It has been a while since I put something up, but I have been very busy. We are just finishing up our Christmas rush, and I haven't had a lot of time to play around.

I promise that I will get something up soon...

I just finished placing an order for my families Christmas cards and my wife, Lisa, has told me to wait until she sends out our cards before I can post it on the blog, so... I have to be a good husband and wait... but like I said I will get something up soon, hopefully by the end of the week.

Well, since Halloween is tomorrow I thought I would post these... I will be posting more photos from that session soon.

Hope you all enjoy !

The Eyes have it...

Well it's about 10pm right now and I'm just finishing up for the day. I just photographed Lindsey for her senior portraits today and was amazed at how beautifully Lindsey's eyes popped in the right lighting. We first started in my studio and headed out to Stage Fort Park... it was 47 degrees and there was apparently a cross-country race happening, but we endured and got some amazing photos by the cannons and Crescent Beach. Here are my favorites a little done up.

Aiello Wedding

A couple of my favorite photos from the last wedding I did.I love the one where Marty (the groom) just lifted Jill (the bride) up it was completely unexpected and I was lucky to photograph it. The Last photo of the bride's father singing, was him serenading his daughter...

Kesterson Family Shoot...

This was another shoot from this weekend, My sister-in-law wanted to have some new photos of her and her family. We were going to shoot at Stage Fort Park but since it was freezing this weekend we decided to shoot in the studio, and man was it fun... The personality of these two boys, makes me envious of their childhood, all they do is laugh and smile, it wasn't hard to photograph them.

Holden Timulty

This is actually Holden's second shoot with us... His first shoot was when his mother come in for some maternity shots. =o) I've never seen a baby with such beautiful blond hair before... he was so cute with the Converse outfit that my wife decided to dress our son Frankie up in his Converse outfit and have his first photo done with his future best friend...also props to dad for the superman outfit... I can't wait to have Holden back in the studio.

Aberle Family Session

So this past weekend was very busy for me... but the families that I photographed were great. This was on Friday, and these are my favorites... we started out at Good Harbor Beach but when Braydon was more interested on the sand instead of everything else... so we moved it to Stage Fort Park...

Fall Sports_GHS FOOTBALL

This past weekend was just as busy as this up coming weekend will be for me.
I did, however, get a chance to go out and photograph our local high school football team and cheerleaders.
What a fun, fast, interesting game. GHS Football went all out and proved why they are still undefeated, and of course the Lady fisherman where just as interesting to watch as the game was with their half time show.

Photos from this game are located at ForneroSports.com or just click the link on the right.

Maternity Sessions

These are good friends and clients, Kat and John. They were great sports! The session was originally scheduled for 5pm but due to some issues we had to postpone until 10pm.
Kat was about 39 to 40 weeks along when we got this done so Holden was coming any minute! We really wanted to get some maternity shots, before Holden made his appearance. Holden was born about a week or two later and I am happy to say he is coming in soon to get his "second" set of photos done.

Dog days of Summer...

I hate this part... nights are starting to get colder and the days shorter.
I have been busy with weddings this summer hence the lack of photos on here. Here is a recent wedding. This wedding took place on a Schooner the Thomas E. Lannon to be precise. As some of you might know I get motion sickness... yea I know why would you take a wedding on a boat, well the couple were awesome to work with and the money was there =o), I have a little one to think about now and formula is expensive.

Well take a look and let me know what you guys think.

My Son !

The richness of our lives shall be yours. All that I have, all that I've learned, everything I feel... all this, and more, I... I bequeath you, my son. You will carry me inside you, all the days of your life. You will make my strength your own, and see my life through your eyes, as your life will be seen through mine.
The son becomes the father, and the father the son.

Fun in the Sun!

Yesterday I photographed a very sweet and lovely young woman. We had a great time going around Gloucester,MA and using some of the local places as backdrops. I've been living in Gloucester now for close to 8 years and it still surprises me every time how beautiful this place is.
